Gustavo Rosenstegel was born in Porto Alegre, south of Brazil, and has been sharing the culinary flavors, history, and customs of his heritage since 2002.

From a young age, Gustavo displayed a peculiar curiosity for traditional Gaúcho cooking and started helping in family cookouts around the age of 9.

Gustavo cooked through college and offered catered churrasco events for over a decade.

Stewarding Santa Picanha now accomplishes Gustavo's lifelong dream of having a space where friends, family, and community can come together to learn about Brazil and the Gaúchos while indulging in a delicious, authentic food experience!
